Jeannie McMillan – Director
In excess of 20 years experience working in housing, 15 years of which was with Wansbeck Council Jeannie is now the Director of Wansbeck Homes. Having started as a housing office receptionist with North Tyneside Council, Jeannie got the housing bug and continued her qualifications in the housing field. She has always been tenant focused and is now proud to be Director of Wansbeck Homes.
Steve Burke – Housing Manager (North Side)
Steve is responsible for Housing Management of Wansbeck Homes properties. Steve and his team have responsibility for carrying out day to day management of homes and estates. Steve has many years experience with Wansbeck Council.
Chris Milne – Housing Manager – Income and Enforcement
Chris is responsible for dealing with serious breaches of tenancy and chasing up unpaid rent.Chris has been in housing since 1984 starting at Newcastle City Council as a Housing Assistant before eventually coming to Wansbeck Council in 1999.
Paul Milburn – Housing Manager – Support Services
Paul has worked for Wansbeck Council since 1987 and has been a member of the senior management team for the past eight years. He is responsible for managing Northumberland Homefinder Choice Based Letting Scheme, allocations and lettings, managing the homelessness unit on behalf of Northumberland County council and supported housing.
Mel McKee – Housing Manager – Estate Services
Mel joined Wansbeck Councils Housing Team four years ago.He is now Housing Manager with responsibility for estate services such as caretaking and cleaning.He leads up a dedicated team that cover the whole Wansbeck area carrying out tasks such as clearing empty gardens and one off rubbish pickups.
Adrian King – Head of Asset Management
Adrian who has a Diploma in Building Economics started work for Wansbeck Councils Building Department in 1975.He then took over the Design & Maintenance Section in 1996.In his new role for Wansbeck Homes, Adrian heads up a team of 12 professional and technical staff, dealing with the £300million refurbishment programme.
Andy Richardson – Head of Property Maintenance
Based at Stakeford, Andy also has many years housing experience having previously worked for Sunderland City Councils housing division before they transferred to the Sunderland Housing Group now rebranded as Gentoo. Andy has the experience of transfer and now leads the workforce carrying out the refurbishment and maintenance of our properties.
